Original: DATES: This rule is effective from noon on July 21, 2026, through 8 p.m. on July 24, 2026. SUMMARY: The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary security zone for navigable waters within a 500-yard radius of the designated participating vessels for the Parade of Ships while each such vessel is in the Sector Puget Sound Captain of the Port zone. The security zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by risk for destruction, loss, or injury from sabotage or other subversive acts, accidents, or events of a similar nature.
