Partners & Data Sources
Kielwasser stands on the shoulders of many open data sources and partners. Here are the sources that make tides, water levels, ship traffic, ports, and official notices possible — and the engine that brings it all together.
Neptun — Our Data Engine
Neptun fetches, aggregates, and consolidates all these sources into a coherent picture — tides and currents (FES model), water levels, ship traffic, locks, and notices — and powers Kielwasser. The same engine is available as an open European coastal data API.
