Delete account and data

You can permanently delete your Rubberduck/Kielwasser account and all associated data at any time.

In the app

Open the Rubberduck app → Settings → Kielwasser/Account → “Delete account”. This removes your account and all data stored in the cloud.

By email

Email ahoi@kielwasser.blog from your account email address with the subject “Delete account”. We will delete your account within 7 days.

What is deleted

Your account, your logbook blog, published trips and legs, boat profile, photos, and position and account data.

Retention

Backups are permanently deleted within 30 days at the latest. Only data we are legally required to keep (e.g. invoices, if any) is retained for the legally prescribed period.
